Then take a little, thin screwdriver and remove the small screw covers on the front of the screen surrounding frame. A laptop screen usually has four or six screws depending on the model. Then remove all the screws and be careful not to loose any of them as they are so tiny.

Center your hand in the middle of the surrounding frame also known as bezel and put your fingers between the frame and the screen. Work your way around the frame puling it away from the screen cover. Once the frame removed, you can see the metal frame of the screen. On the back of the screen you should find the manufacturer product code which will help you buy the appropriate screen for your laptop.

Before removing the old screen, make sure to disconnect all the cables that make the connection to the notebook. You have the video cable and the power cable placed somewhere between the display and the inverter. Installing the new LCD will be easier as you have to reverse the process. Now your laptop is back in shape, ready to meet your demands and expectations.
